Quick Start

Sign up, process your first image, and download the result in under 5 minutes.

1

Go to sirv.studio and create an account with email, Google, or GitHub. Takes about 30 seconds.

Your library starts empty. Open Assets to add your first images.

2

Upload an image

Drag any product photo, headshot, or test image onto the library grid. You can also click the upload button or paste a URL.

Supported formats

JPEG, PNG, WebP, HEIC, AVIF, TIFF. Max 200 MB per image.

3

Pick a tool

Open AI Tools in the sidebar and pick Background Removal. It is the fastest tool to try and starts at 1 credit. Source megapixels can increase the exact quote shown before processing.

You will see a preview of the tool settings. The default model (BiRefNet) works great for most images. Hit Run.

4

Wait a few seconds

A progress indicator shows while the image processes. When processing finishes, review the result with its transparent background against the original.

Click the image to open the detail view and compare the original with the processed version side by side.

5

Download your result

In the detail view, click the download button. Choose PNG to keep the transparent background, or pick another format if you prefer.

If you have a Sirv CDN account connected, you can also push the result straight to your CDN with one click.

6

Check your credit balance

Open the workspace menu to check your remaining credits. Background-removal costs depend on the provider, settings, and source megapixels, so use the quote shown before processing.

Every tool shows its credit cost before you run it, so there are no surprises. Need more credits? Check out the credits guide for packs and plans.
