Batches

Run one AI tool on many images at once from files, the library, image URLs or a Google Sheet, then download or approve the results.

A batch runs one AI tool, with one set of settings, on many images. Use it to remove the background from a whole photo shoot, upscale every supplier image, or write alt text for a folder. If you need several steps, or want the work to run again on new images, use a workflow.

Start a batch

  1. Open AI Tools and click a batch tool, such as Batch background removal. You can also switch a tool to Batch with the Single / Batch toggle at the top, or click Run … in Batch after a single run.
  2. Add images. On the Upload files tab, drop files or click Browse files, Browse folders or Browse assets. To use image links, see the next section.
  3. Pick the settings. They are the same as in the single tool, such as the model and the scale.
  4. Check the price. The bar shows the credits for the whole batch, such as 50 credits queued.
  5. Click Run all. The button shows how many images will run.

The results appear on the stage as each image finishes. You can leave the page; the batch keeps running.

Start a batch from URLs or a Google Sheet

  1. In a batch tool, open the Import URLs tab. Background sheets and Upscale sheets open on this tab.
  2. Paste image URLs, one per line, or paste a Google Sheet link or CSV text. Then click Load URLs. You can also click Choose a CSV or Excel file and pick a .csv, .xlsx, .xls or .txt file.
  3. Check the URL column. Studio guesses it from a header such as url, image or image_url, or from the first column of web links. Click a column header to pick another one.
  4. Click Continue with …, for example Continue with 40 files, to add the images.

A Google Sheet must be shared so anyone with the link can view it. Otherwise Studio says Could not read this Google Sheet. Make sure it is publicly accessible. Each URL must end with an image file extension, such as .jpg. A CSV or Excel file can be up to 150 MB.

Make many images from prompts

Batch generate makes images from prompts instead of photos. Pick Multiple prompts to enter up to 100 prompts, or Single + variations to make several variations of one prompt.

How credits are charged

When a batch starts, Studio holds the credits for every image. When it ends, you pay only for the images that succeeded. The rest of the hold comes back, including the credits for images that failed. If you cancel a batch, the credits for images that did not run come back.

Cancel, retry and resume

While a batch runs, click Cancel to stop it. When it has stopped, the bar offers:

  • Download results: download every finished image as a ZIP file.
  • Retry failed: run the failed images again.
  • Resume: continue a cancelled batch with the images that had not run yet.
  • Clear all: empty the stage to start a new batch.

Find and review earlier batches

  1. In Create Studio, click Batch jobs. The list shows each batch with its progress.
  2. Click a batch to see its images and their status: Done, Approved, Failed, Processing or Pending.
  3. Click Review results to open the batch, or Retry … failed to run the failed images again.

A finished batch waits as Ready to review. Approve the results you want to keep, or reject the others. Only approved results are uploaded to Sirv. Batch results do not appear on the Review page and are not added to the library.

Preview new file names

Before a batch, you can plan file names with the free batch rename preview. Paste file names and pick a pattern built from {sku}, {view}, {sequence} and {ext}. The preview warns about names that collide. It only reads the names you paste and never changes files.
