Export to marketplaces and feeds
Set up Amazon, eBay, ABOUT YOU, SAP Commerce and CSV feed channels, then export a package with the products that pass their checks.
Studio checks your products against the rules of Amazon, eBay, ABOUT YOU, SAP Commerce or your own CSV feed, and builds the file each one takes. Studio does not send anything to these marketplaces. You download the package and upload it to the marketplace yourself.
Who can use this: Owners and Admins can set up these channels and export packages. Everyone who can see products can see how ready they are for each channel. For plan limits on channels, see Channels.
Set up the channel
- Add the channel in Settings > Channels with Add destination. See Add a channel.
- Open the channel and select Configure export.
- Fill in the fields for that marketplace, described below, and save.
- Check the channel's readiness checks and which products it gets.
When the setup is saved, the channel shows Export ready.
Amazon, eBay and ABOUT YOU are marked Preview. Each uses one fixed set of requirements: Amazon US apparel, eBay Motors and ABOUT YOU fashion.
Export a package
- Go to Products > All products.
- Open the readiness channel menu next to the page title and pick the channel.
- Optional: filter or select the products you want.
- Select Export, then Export with the channel name and package, such as Export Amazon package.
Only products the channel gets, and that pass every blocking check, go into the package. Warnings do not stop a product. When some products fail, the export still runs with the rest. When no product passes, Studio says No product passed the export checks. The channel's runs show each product's reason. Select View runs to see why.
Studio downloads the package when it is ready and says Channel export downloaded.
You can also export on a schedule, or with Export ready products now on the channel page. See Publish or export on a schedule. Each run, with its per-product results, shows under Activity and errors on the channel page.
Exports read copy in the channel's content language: the title, the description, translatable attributes and image alt text. A missing translation stays empty. See Choose the content language.

CSV feed
A CSV feed builds one CSV file with the columns a marketplace asks for. Add one CSV feed channel per marketplace and name it after that marketplace.
- Open the CSV feed channel and select Configure export. The Configure CSV feed dialog opens.
- Add the columns. Either select Add column for each one, or copy the first row of the marketplace's template into Paste the header row and select Add columns. Studio adds one column per header and suggests where each value comes from.
- For each column, set the Header, choose its source and tick Required if the marketplace needs it.
- Choose the Delimiter: Comma, Semicolon or Tab.
- Select Save CSV feed.
Each column takes its value from one source:
- Product fields: SKU, EAN, Title, Description, Brand, Product type, Category, Price, Sale price, Currency, Tags, Product URL, Family and Family label.
- Images: Image 1, Image 2 and so on, in the product's image order.
- Product attributes: any of your attributes.
- Other > Fixed text: the same text in every row.
Use the arrows to change the column order. Two columns cannot have the same header. If an attribute a column uses is deleted, the column asks you to choose another source.
Default checks: the product is active, has a SKU and has a main image.
What the export holds: a CSV file with your header row and one row per product. A product that leaves a required column empty gets no row, and the run lists it with the reason. Prices use the decimals of their currency. Image addresses that carry a signature or login are refused, and that product fails.
