Supplier portal

Collect product photos and videos from suppliers in one portal, check every file on upload and approve what goes to your store.

The supplier portal replaces product photos sent by email, file-sharing links and hard drives. Your suppliers sign in to their own portal, see which products need which shots and upload into the right place. Studio checks each file against your rules as it arrives, fixes simple problems and sends the rest to review. Approved files go to Shopify and, if you choose, to your Sirv account.

This section is for the team that runs the portal: Owners, Admins, reviewers and editors. If you are a supplier, start with For suppliers.

How it works

  1. You set up the portal. Write the welcome page suppliers see, say which shots each product needs and choose the checks every file must pass.
  2. You invite suppliers. Each supplier gets an email invite and access to the products you assign to them.
  3. Suppliers upload. They upload into each product's shot list from the browser, in a batch with an optional CSV manifest, or by SFTP.
  4. Studio checks every file. A file that passes can be approved straight away or wait for a reviewer. A file that fails can be sent back to the supplier with the reason. Simple problems, such as the wrong format or a file that is too large, can be fixed first.
  5. Your team reviews. Reviewers approve or reject uploads in Review. Editors fix images in the Design queue.
  6. Approved files are delivered. An approved image on a product linked to Shopify is published to that product. You can also send every approved file to a folder in your Sirv account.
